I have two. The real tree is in the house and we have an artificial one in the garage. Every Christmas, my family converts the garage. We drape a white sheet across the garage and put cotton *for the snow* on the floor and then we put all these animated figures *62 of them at last count* in the garage and make a kinda winter wonderland. It looks beautiful and the neighbors always get a kick out of it.

I just started doing two Christmas trees last year. I found that I had acquired many metallic, victorian style ornaments that did not go with the homey ones I have collected for years. So the main tree has all my home made cloth and wooden ornaments, along with the cute things the kids made in school over the years. The second, slightly smaller tree is in the den and has the victorian style ornaments. Everyone really liked it last year so I have to do it every year. I love decorating the house for Christmas and can't resist buying more and more stuff at tag sales every year. Have acquired many very nice things that way.

I have had more than one tree in the past. When we lived up in the mountains of Idaho and had a larger house. We always had a smaller one in the kitchen that the kids and I would make ornaments that represented the twelve days of Christmas, except for the partridge in the pear tree......it hung in the pear tree outside.....I had a very small tree also that hung all of the precious moment ornaments that I had collected for the kids over the years. And, one year, we put one on the front porch and decorated it with things for birds to eat.
God Bless................................

We do. I run a private daycare in my home. We put our main one up in the living room that is decorated with only handmade orniments that my family and I have made. Then in the play room we put up a second tree for the kids. They make all the decorations and put them up. There may be 6 orniments on one branch and no cranberries left on the popcorn strings but, they did it on their own. I found this also helps stop the kids from picking stuff off of the main tree. Merry Christmas.

We have the big tree in our living room, a wall tree in the hall, and smaller trees (1-2 feet tall) in the dining room and all three bedrooms. I also have a six inch tree for the kitchen and one for the bathroom.
In the past I haven't done themes on most of the trees, but that is my goal for this year. The ones in the bedrooms will be themed to match the color of the walls (one pink and white, one lavender and yellow, and one in different shades of blue.) I have penguins for my kitchen, moose for my bathroom (only because someone gave me a holiday moose set of lotion dispensers), and gold for the hall tree. I want to do the dining room in candy canes with red and white decorations. And the big tree in the living room will have handmade decorations and specialty ornaments - no glass balls!

My mom used to put up an artificial tree that was Victorian themed, and then we had a real tree that was the "family tree" - ornaments dating back decades, some of them handmade from egg cartons when we were kids, etc.

I don't, but if I had the money I would. I would put one in my living room and one on the front porch! What I always wanted to do was to have a three story house and get three trees and put them in the front windows so from the outside it looks like I have a three story Christmas Tree!!!

I have three trees but only one is a traditional Christmas tree (real with lots of lights and decorations). The others are small fake ones I got at a craft store and I sit them out on my living room window.

No, Just one tree but I do put out as many lights all over as I can get away with. If you ever saw National Lampoons Christmas, Chevy Chase' house is my ultimate goal someday!
