First of all, be very careful about going on an all-protien diet, as this can damage your kidneys. It's best to have a balance of protien and complex carbs.

For inexpensive protein, you can't beat eggs. Beans are also full of protien, but must be eaten with some sort of grain in order to form a complete protien for maximum benefit.

Unfortunately high protein foods are not the cheapest. You need lean meat, nuts, fish and some dairy products like cheese (if you don't have a problem with fats). Good luck!
