this guy i like, i met 2 months ago. he is living at my friend's house. we are all in our early 20's. and he invites me over practically everynight. both him and i are night owls so we hang out til 4am while everyone else is asleep at 11pm. he liked this other girl Felica but she pissed him off cause she is engaged to someone else, hits on him (almost slept w/ him) and within aweek she is now hitting on his best friend Joey. he called me and i guess i played 'best friend' and listened and comforted him. then an ex-girlfriend from 2 years back called him, and now for the past 2 nights she's been over there. i know he only views me as a friend which i guess i dont mind cause i'd rather have him as a friend than nothing at all. but i was wondering if it's worth it. b/c all these girls (2 in one week, nevermind previous yrs) play games w/ his mind and it kills me. is it worth being his friend to comfort him and feel like my heart is breaking or stop being his friend and move on?

I think you'd be making a mistake by getting involved with him (in fact, I think you're already too involved with him). For me, the issue is that he lets this stuff happen to him. Why can't he tell these girls to leave him alone if he isn't comfortable with the way they treat him? It seems to me that he enjoys the attention he gets from these girls and the attention he gets from you. Mind games don't just happen to people for years and years - people let others play mind games with them. It's up to you to decide if you're into this mind game he's playing with you. Good luck!

just tell him that you care about him as more than a friend if he feels the same, the ball is in his court so he'll let you know if he feels the same.
