ok so I just took a test and it was worth 100 points and there were 50 questions...I just want to figure out my test score I think that I missed maybe 7 questions if not a few more. I know I did not miss anymore than 10. Does someone know how to figure out the score? I used to know but I forgot how to do it.
Thanks 10 points goes to the one who can show or tell me how to do it.

You have 100 points possible for 50 questions. So, each question is worth 2 points. If you think you missed 7 then the total points missed equals 14. Your the subtract 14 from the total 100 and your score would be an 86. On most grading scales that would be at least a B-.

Since you have 100 points and 50 questions, you take 100 points divided by 50 questions to get 2 points per question. If you think that you got 7 incorrect, then that means you subtract (7 questions x 2 points = 14) 14 points from the total amount of points possible (100-14 = 86). 86 out of 100 is 86% and therefore your grade is a B.

If you want to figure out your score, divide the number of questions into 100 to figure out how many points each question was worth. In this case 100 divided by 50 questions means 2 points per question. If you got 7 wrong, that means you got 43 right (50-7=43) so take 43 and multiply it by 2. You get 86%, which is a B if your teacher uses a straight percentage scale. See how it works?

yeah just take the number of questions you missed times 2. or set the amount you got right divided by the total number of questions.
