I have a small child, so most of my adult content shows are recorded and viewed after bedtime.
I must admit ER is making a come back.

DVR is either the best thing ever or the worst. At my house (6 of us - 3 adults, 3 kids) we know tape over 30 shows. None are watched when they are actually aired.
For me, my favorites are:

Boston Legal
Studio 60
Heroes (NBC finally comes through with 2 good shows in one year)
Smallville

As you can see I'm really into the crime shows. I have little ones as well so the more adult stuff is viewed once they are asleep.

My husband works thirds and has to go in around 9pm. WE LOVE OUR DVR!!!! We tape stuff every night of the week.

i barley whatch any thing when its arired all my 8 :00 shows are taped and other shows to . then during the day i puase shows so i can fasforward though commercials because i hate whatching them. my dad gets made because i tape so much stuff that to things are taping at once and we cant change the channel
