Do a background check on yourself and see if your felony still shows up. If not than don't even worry about it.

No. Your application will have a question such as "have you ever been convicted of a felony" When you answer yes, your application will be turned down.

Probably, as long as you are honest about it. Usually they care most about crimes of dishonesty such as fraud, and perjury. They may also care about white collar financial crimes. Your standard retail theft from eight years ago is not a huge problem if you are honest about it and say that you were young and stupid and you've turned your life around.

it all depends on if it was taken off your record or not but if it hasn't you probably won't be able to get that kind of a job

get the charge esponged from your record
go to your local courhouse and tell them what you want done
it will probably cost you $50
