I'm trying to find out health questions and answers on the lives of Grey Squirrels, can anyone help?

They don't shed their teeth, they lose them because they are from Mississippi. Every thing from Mississippi loses their teeth. It is called Summerteeth.

Like someone else answered, they are rodents and their teeth grow continually. They file them down by chewing on trees, nuts, your house gutter or anything that catches their attention. If you have a rodent in captivity and they have nothing to chew on their teeth will grow terribly long causing discomfort and possibly death from not being able to chew properly. Nature looks out after the wild ones.

They are rodents. They wear down their teeth by constantly biting on hard things (like nut shells).
