:) Ok, here's the deal! Been on the pill for years, and I always start @ the same time each month! Well, this month there was some light bleeding 2 days b4 I was suppost to start. It would come and go throughout the day, but it was never heavy like a period! Now, today is the day I'm suppost to start, and I didn't! Could it just be stress or could I actually be pregnant? I took a test on monday but it was negative! Was it maybe to early to take? Please help!

you could be pregnant or it could just be that you are stressing out. relax. take a hot bath and take another test in a few days. try to take it when you wake in the morning.

There is a possibility you could be pregnant. Since you have been on the pill for so long and don't seem to have any pregnancy symptoms, it's not likely that you are pregnant. I have also been on the pill for years and I just recently started spotting as well, I took a pregnancy test that came out negative and sure enough I got my period this morning.
The earliest a pregnancy test can be taken with accurate results is up to 4 or 5 days before your period is due. Since your period is due today and you tested Monday, the results should be accurate. The best thing to do is to wait a day or two and if you don't get a period then definitely test again. Try First Response.

• 10. Tender, swollen breasts
• 9. Fatigue
• 8. Implantation bleeding
• 7. Nausea or vomiting
• 6. Increased sensitivity to odors
• 5. Abdominal bloating
• 4. Frequent urination
• 3. A missed period
• 2. Your basal body temperature stays high
• 1. The proof: A positive home pregnancy test
Could you be pregnant? Most likely you won't notice any symptoms until about the time you've missed a period — or a week or two later.

Yes you could be, the pill is not 100% (reality is about 95%.) As for the time of the test, relax and wait another week to see if you start your period. If you don't take another home test then.
Regardless the results see your doctor. It may be nothing (you can skip a month even as an adult) or you could be in need of some cigars.

I doubt it. The longer youre on the pill the more likely you are to have break through bleeding as your body naturally changes its cycle a few days here and there as months and years go by.
Also your homones change and as a result so do the amounts you need from the pill to regulate your periods.
Just ride it out, you'll probably find that you'll do it again next month, or in a few months. If so talk to your doctor, she might need to change the dosage or the pill.

You could be pregnant, happens all the time, just ask me, I have three daughters as a result of the pill! haha....
Wait a few days and test again, but it's not uncommon for women who have been on the pill for prolonged periods of time to completely miss periods all together. Good luck to you!

i think it was probaly just stress. if you don't start in a couple of days take another test. since you have been on the pill for so long i doubt you are pregnant. even if you missed a day the pill stays in your system for a while after you stop taking the pill.

Okay.. if you EVER think you are pregnant you should STOP immediatlyl taking the pills.. and see your doctor..or at least call him/her and tell them what is going on to schedule a pregnancy test.. I know MANY people that have gotten pregnant even had twins while on the pill!

Why don't you just go to a gynecologist, why would you think that someone here has the answer?
