How to remove write protection from MMC Card?

I have a Nokia 6260 and recently each time I put my MMC card in my card reader for my computer it says :
"Cannot copy "X file" The disc is write-protected. Remove the write protection or use another disk. I already tried formating the card and even putting tape on the card like I read somewhere but it doesnt work and I dont have the cables or installation software, any help will be appreciated.

Look for a very small slide switch on the edge of the card and slide it into the opposite position.
