My recycling bin is empty, there are no hidden files or folders on it, but when I right click properties, it says it's full. And when I try to drag and drop, it says it's full. Yet when I click it on, there are no songs on it. It's a cheap 256m Alba from Argos, but I've only had it a while, so it shouldn't be faulty already. Any ideas?

Is the MP3 player's memory card detachable?
If so, is it connected properly?

Is the connection between the player and the computer complete?

If so, try turning it off & on again while connected.

Have you ever dropped it? The memory card may be damaged.

Hopefully at least one of these helped...
