I had similar symptoms when I was pregnant, but also when I wasn't! My doctor said it was just the beginning of perimenopause, which seems to start amazingly early in some people these days!
So.........time will tell...........or a pregnancy test/doctor's visit!
These days I don't even bother to check the date for my period - I used to be really concerned(could I possibly be pregnant again?!) - but now it's just "when it comes it comes".
It's good to have regular checkups/pap smears though, to make sure all is well healthwise.
All the best!

Yes, it is possible that you could be pregnant. Most likely menopause, but you should see your Ob/Gyn just in case. My friend's aunt was in her early 40's and had tried for years and couldnt get pregnant. She had accepted that she wouldnt have children. She wasnt regular anyway, so she wasnt too alarmed when she didnt get her period. She had even been told about a yr before that she was having early stages of menopause. She was having horrible cramps and went to the dr. She found out she was 7 mos pregnant and was having preterm labor. Luckily dr. was able to get it stopped and she carried the baby almost to term and now has a beautiful 13 yr old daughter. This woman is in her early to mid 50's now.
You should see your Dr. I bet it is just menopause, but it is best to know for sure. Good luck!!

howdy... i think of a bypass to to you wellness practitioner is extremely indicated. on an identical time because it may be unusual and not likely so which you would be able to be pregant, that's not remarkable to be pregnant at age 40 six. yet, it ought to certainly be the beginnings of menopause besides. that's usually confusing for women people of their 40s, when you consider that their sessions usually replace into somewhat strange as they attitude menopause. whether... and this may be a extensive whether... it must be a demonstration of a few thing extra extreme than menopause or being pregnant. i don't prefer to scare you by way of fact that's in all probability menopause, yet menstrual differences can be indicators of many different illnesses and prerequisites (like maximum cancers). So, call your wellness practitioner ASAP... just to be risk-free. suited of success!

If you are still having regular periods, you can get pregnant. My cousin was still having periods when she was 60! Her ob told her she could still get pregnant at her age!
Go see your ob/gyn. You could also be starting menopause.
P.S. Marica Cross (Bree on Desperate Housewives) is 44, and pregnant!

it is possible, a 76 year old woman had a baby once..take a test if you are worried about it. but menopause does begin to rear it's ugly head sometimes as early as a woman's 20's.
