I have been out of their house 4 years now.

How can we POSSIBLY know this? LOL! I think it is because of your emotional ties, as I have dreams where I am still a little girl in kg, or 1st grade, so I think that it has to do with your emotions, or things that upset you or make you happy...

Well, I still dream about the house I grew up in...we moved out when I was 13 and I'm 30 now. If I dream about my parents or home, it's always that house.
