Fact of the matter is, you can plant at any time of the day. Best advice is to follow planting directions for the species of seeds or transplants you are planting. Those directions should tell you the spacing, depth, and sunlight requirements of the seeds or plants you are planting. Make sure you fertilize and water according to directions.

If you follow these simple guidelines, it won't matter what time of day you plant.

Good luck with your gardening.
