thats a hard one. i am not sure i can pick just one cuz i need both buti guess i would pick sight cuz at least i can still see and write and learn to sign plus i wouldn't have to hear anyone's nagging voice.

Strange that you should ask that question as I am loosing both. With out a doubt going through this personally I would say my sight is the most important. Just the thought of loosing my sight scares the hell out of me. I have always been an independent person who prefers to do everything with out asking anyone for help as I don't like to be pampered or felt sorry for. No doubt about it, vision is the most important of the two.

I would want to lose sight. I would die if I could no longer listen to music or hear my man's voice. I love sounds of all sorts. With sight, I could just use past memories to compile what people and things MIGHT look like.

Well I hope and pray I lose neither. But if I had to choose I would choose to lose my hearing. As much as I love music I would hate not to be able to see my son's face and all the beauty around me.

I'd have to say my hearing. I could do without the hearing. Because if I had my sight I would be able to see peoples faces and read their lips and get to see every sight there is to see. I could do without having to hear the hussle and bussle of everyday life.

If I had to lose one I'd prefer to lose my sight. I listen to so much music I don't think I could deal with not being able to hear it anymore.

Sight. Without hearing language, cognitive abilities and thinking cannot be developed.
