That question is one of many theories and debate. Yes I had what some call an imaginary friend and my daughter does to. Its normal. In my studies it is found that both children and animals are hypersensitive to things the adults cannot see nor hear. For those that can...some call psyics. All imaginary friends really are, are supernatural beings. Their not evn imaginary at all. Children are not instilled with fear because they themselves have no clue as to what they are really seeing. They think its cool. A friend who can come and go as they wish and no one thinks the lesser. As for us we see them and woosh...go flying out the room screaming ghost, or end up in therapy. For example cats...now they are extremely sensitive to the paranomal. Have you ever seen a cat laying down and they just seem to be focused on nothing at all..just staring into space. Their not. They see something or someone. So no your not crazy. They really do exist.

No, but that could be because I had 7 younger siblings, I didn't have time for an imaginary friend!
