The fact they have achieved such a level of success proves you do not need to be able to sing to make it if you can write great songs.

I love them both. They sing because they have something important to say. I think Bob Dylan is the greatest songwriter of all time (and to the person who said he's close to death- he's 65 and just finished producing a complete album of new material: Modern Times, which is excellent). And personally, I think Springsteen has one of the sexiest voices around. Listen to the Devils and Dust album- amazing.

That's not true, they are quite distinguishable.
'BROOOOOCEEEE' went to the Sing Like You're Constipated School, where he met fellow alumnus Mark Knopfler.
'boBBeeEeeEeee' graduated from The University Of Mumble So People Think You're Deep, attended many years later by Michael Stipe.
They both, however, gargle with the same brand of sand.

No. Bruce Springsteen can actually sing and Bob Dylan......is probably close to death.

While they are not the best singers, I still like hearing their voices. Dylan's version of "Blowing in the Wind" is the best.
