chairs sofa etc an I am totally amazed how much dander my cat sheds in just one week.

No wonder my eyes are always itchy and I am forever sneezing. I will have to vacumm everyday from now one..dirty *****. How about you animals do they shed dander..fur, dry skin etc. If so how do you control it. I thought it did enough to curb it but obviously I don't

Does you pet produce a lot of dander etc.,?

I don't allow my cat upstairs either but his dander seems to find it's way up there. And we have wooden floors up stairs. He has a very think coat so I dont know why I'm surprised.

riliska that sounds amazing I must see if I can find a website..never heard of them before here in the UK. The vacumm I have is supposed to be dust free and hypoallergenic, so it should be fine.

Hello Rosie I thought the same as you but dander is just not fur it's a combination of things such as dead skin, bugs, dust, fur pollens. And this is the problem if it were just fur it would be okay, but it's the other things that cause an allergy sufferers like me the problems.

I have six cats and they shed very little dander. Are you sure it is really dander that you are vacumning up?

I vaccum with my Rainbow Vaccum cleaner (made by Rexair) every weekend. i prefer the Rainbow because has a unique water basin that traps ALL dust and dirt and Dander. Yes I said All.

the best part is that some cats will love to be groomed by the vaccum because it has an adiustable airflow.

remember to empty the basin when you are done.

here is there slogan

"wet dirt won't fly."

I have a cat and have had her for five years. She does loose lots of fur. the best thing to do is hover. A henry has worked best for me. Also avoid them in the bedroom.
You dont necesarily have to do it every day. If theres a place you dont want them to go use orange peel as they dont like it.
remember to groom you pet, and its good to let them out so they can have some fresh air on there skin.
another tip is to use cleansing wipes. use them now and again to wipe down skirting boards e.t.c

hope this helps as i totaly understand.

Well... my hamsters might, I suppose, I never thought about it. We have 10 dwarf ham's.

But, our chilean rose tarantula and pink toe tarantula don't, nor do the 7 purple pincher hermit crabs or the 2 strawberry hermit crabs. :)

Unless the hamsters do, we are a dander free zone. ;)

i have a poodle and they dont shed,

they are hypoallergenic, very very clean!

regular brushing helps though with pets who shed, if you buy a mit they take off alot of fur and you can put it straight in the bin!

You have to lube up the skin so it isn't so dry. Try episoothe shampoo for animals. It is an oatmeal bath designed to soothe their skin.
