About a month ago I pulled a glob of hair and mush from deep inside my bathtub drain. Every since then there has been a rotten egg smell coming from the drain? What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Sounds like your drain does not have a trap, which is an elbow like bend in the pipe that keeps things like odors and cockroaches from entering the house via the drain. This trap holds a small amount of water that won't allow the smell to pass into your Bathroom. The best solution at this point is a damp wash cloth placed over the hole when not in use. This will stop those foul odors from coming in. I have the same problem and this is what I was told by a plumber. Good Luck

Before you go to bed, put half of a small box of baking soda down the drain and then pour half a cup of vinegar down the drain. This will foam up and bubblle and it will help clean the gunk out of your drain and help it to smell better. If you do that once a week, it will make a big difference.

Pour some baking soda down the drain and flush with hot water.
If draining slow, pour the baking soda - then some regular vinegar - then hot water.
