You wont see guppy fish eggs. Guppies are live bearers. This means that they give birth to the babies. When you have a pregnant guppy, their back end becomes large and darkened. You can actually see baby guppies born if your watching at the right time. The mother fish swims around and out comes a baby fishy. It's best to have plants for the babies to hide in. Bigger fish even the mother fish will sometimes eat the babies. It's just part of their nature.

Guppy eggs look like little fishies...that is why they are called LIVE BEARERS! They bear (give birth to) their young alive.

FYI: Mollies, Platys, and Sword Tails are also Live Bearers.

Guppies give live birth to their young... When you see a pregnant female remove her and place her into her own tank! Provide hiding places for the young (they will be eaten if you don't)...
