The doubling of the letter says "off the scale." Double A is therefore off the scale small (and mostly for girls who don't really need a bra at all), and double D is off the scale large. Actually, some manufacturers go right on and use E, F, etc.
Don't go asking what mine is. Let's just say I need those "special manufacturers." LOL

Women's clothing sizes are all designed to seem complementary because practically every women is unhappy about her size and appearance in general. If you put DD the double D woman will feel superior to the regular D. If you put AA the completely flat-chested child will think she's better than the A. Anyway there's no such thing as an AA cup. If your breasts are A or smaller all you really need to wear is a camisole or an undershirt to disguise your nips.

Rather than go to the next size, you'll get a double size an AA Is like a Zero and a DD is like a 16. the number before the letter is based on your back. so that really can't change. Hope you understand
