I have had a Long-Distance boyf for 7 years now. I have done most travelling, but love was worth it. He is not willing to move to my city (we tried it and he hated it) and so it is upon me to choose a country life to be together and cannot do this for 2yrs. This means my career will not be as successful, and I will have to make new friends, but I had accepted it.

Then I met a man in work and resisted temptation for as long as I could, but with noone to come home to, I gave in. It grew into a meaningful, loving relationship. Physically he was the only other man I had been with. It was so loving, so intense, so meaningful, more so than with my boyfriend.

The other man recently ended our relationship, as he lost hope in the situation changing. I have been devastated since. I love my boyfriend so much, but its so lonely without him. I realised how much I had been missing. I could be happy here with this man. How much should you sacrifice? I love them both, but is love enough?

You shouldn't have started a relationship with someone until you were out of your current one. That being said. I think you should end it with your boyfriend. There is a better opportunity right in front of you. If you marry one of them, that is for life. You need to make sure to make the right descison.

Not everyone can handle long-distance relationships. Obviously you handled it for many years but eventually that changed. If you feel like something like this could happen again, break up with your long-term boyfriend, as hard as that may be, because it's not worth hurting him. You already have, and you have to tell him all about this other relationship. Maybe then he will end it and you won't even have to make such a decision. As for the other man, he has every right to say he can't wait for you to make your decision.

Oh for gods sakes. Your relationship with your long distance love is long over. You cheated. Now you have to pay the price. Leave the long distance love. You'll be doing both of you a favor.
