umm...animals are all pretty much the same - including humans. please don't consider harming an animal, they can only withstand the same amount of pain as we can.

Common sense would say that the largest animals/mammals would because of the mass of the body and the dispersion of nerve endings throughout the surface area.

Well its not nice to hurt any animal, but the Donkey. Donkey's get the reputation that they are stubborn and lazy but that's not true. Donkey's just don't respond to pain. The more you hit the Donkey the more the Donkey will not do what you want it to.

it's my belief that the animal that can withstand the most pain is the human animal. broken hearts inflict massive amounts of it!

the answer is any FEMALE animal can withstand pain longer than any male. ....Females have been scientifically studied to have a higher threshold for pain than man. LETS SEE ONE OF THEM BIRTH A BABY WITHOUT MEDS!!
