Be honest with your feelings of uncomfortableness around him. He as your manager, should provide a professional environment, for you to be productive. If he's not doing his job; you need to address him professionally, and make sure its not based upon his sexual orientation.

Define behaving oddly. He might have a crush on you, big deal. All you need to do is crush his hopes of anything happening by being an adult about it and confront him and be honest about it. If he takes it the wrong way he doesn't need to be a manager in the first place. Just tell him you have no interest in him like that.

Your question lacks detail so I'm not very sure on how to answer you but what i can say is if he persists to hit on you then the only thing you can do is politely tell him that your not that way inclined. But make sure his intentions are what you think they are otherwise you could find your self in a lot of trouble. If his comments towards you can simple be brushed of you shoulder so to speak then don't say anything and perhaps he'll eventually get the point and move on. If anything you should simple take it as a compliment. hope all goes well and i helped even just a little good luck mate.

Tell him in front of a witness that you are not interested in homosexuality and you would like him to stop behaving oddly to you. Keep a record of the date and time, the witnesses name and address and follow up with a record of anything untoward said or done to you or towards you. You will probably lose your job and have it given to someone more to his liking but worth a try.

If it's one thing that he does, that makes you uncomfortable - ask him calmly why he does it - discuss it, don't just criticise him. If you are still uncomfortable, after he explains, tell him it makes you a bit uncomfortable.

Also, if you are in a large, quality company, you can always talk confidentially to your HR dept. about an "un-named" colleague, and get advice - they may even be able to intercede for you.

The golde rule in business - give negative feedback in private, give postiive feedback in public.

Try to brush it off, but if he gets more forceful, either tell him that you aren't interested, or casually mention how happy you are with your girlfriend, and that you're thinking of getting serious. If he's a reasonable person, that should get him to back off.

Show him in a polite way you're heterosexual or tell him politely.
