Before my mom died about 2 years ago, i never used to lisson to her, but now that she's gone i wish that i had paid more attention to her feeling. Looking back i know that she was just trying to help me with the things i was going through, but i'd never lisson. My dad and his wife are much harder on my than my mom ever was, and makes me think i should have lissoned better.

I listened to my dad more, but he died years ago. Even so, I listened to my mum too, but her voice was never the one I referred to first.
To this day I listen to the counsel of my mum. I am 48. And she is venerable. I deeply love and respect the woman now as I did when I was a boy.
She is the highest authority in my life.
But I do miss my dad.

Listen to the one which was on your side more often, more experience and the one who knows you the best.
