They are all just numbers. You have the same zilch chance of winning if you pick them as if the vending machine picks them. You could even open up the day's paper to a random page and go through the articles till one of them mentions a number and use that as a choice. Repeat for more pages and more articles.
No matter where you get the numbers from, you have more chance of being struck by lightning than of getting a big win.
I don't think quick pick is rigged. Every time one winner is announced a hundred more victims rush to buy their tickets. So why would they do anything to discourage people from winning on a quick pick?

More people definitely win by quick pick because that is the option most people choose. Statisically, both pathes are equally likely to occur in a win, but something like 90% of all picks are done quick pick, so that translates into 90% of all winners winning using quick pick. Hope this helps!

Don't live day by day trying to win the lotto. I play once in a while. Not everyday. I see more wins on making out own numbers. But you can't just go by that. When you play? Go by how you want to play at that moment. That is the lucky way.
Good luck.

I have read that most of the winners do go with quick pick. I'm not at a low point - but I think of winning the lotto!!!

The whole point of a lottery is that it is random.
In a 1-49 number lottery there are over 14,000,000 possibilities. Pretty rubbish odds.
However, by sticking to your own numbers over a longer period, you would think that you'd have a better chance.....alas no.....its all random and comes down to chance !

I think quick pick. The numbers are more random than when people pick them themselves.

well, I think that because its random, the probability of QP versus your own is also random. BUT, I know several people who won with their own numbers. They used the same numbers every week. If you stick with it, you just might win! OR, get one of each...

I think more people use the quick pick, as far as winners I am not sure but i think it is pretty even.
