Just looking for odd tips on renting a house out. Are there websites with good tips. Thanks

Most important is to get a deposit, check the references carefully.
Be specific about the property's fixtures and the services that are included with the property.
If you decide to use a Real Estate agent they will be able to do all the referencing for you, and ensure that the rent is payed on time. They will also do regular inspections to ensure that the tenants don't break down the property. When using an agent try to use a Big Brand Real Estate firm like RE/MAX they offer better service warranties

Unfortunatley the real estate market in UK isn't as efficient as it could be especially comparing it to the US.

You have to sign up with an realtor agency in the area. However, you can also contact US expact communities. Years ago, we rented out our flat to US expacts during summers.

make sure you get money up front and check the credit of the tenant unless you are going to accept d h ss people some people are good some smash it to bits and do a moon light flit

Make sure your tennant is 100% certain and sure on who pays what to who'm and when.... and leave yourself a good getout clause.
