I'm a guy in my 40's who has always appreciated the totally natural woman who doesn't/rarely shaves, etc. Growing up there were plenty of such women around, but in last 15 years or so very few. Am I alone in preferring fuzzy legs + are there women who regularly go natural with their body hair or have done in the past?

I have actually come across a French waitress who emphasised her underarm hair by tying red ribbons to it. Obviously this went down well or they'd have sacked her! In Germany I was told that having long hair on one's legs was a sign that one was going to marry a rich man. The trouble is, so many women destroy the evidence that it's hard to check up on that one!

There certainly are. However, American culture has been inundated with the idea that hairless is better, particularly when it comes to women. And as you know, a key marketing strategy is repetition - if you hear something enough, you begin to accept it as fact.

Back in the day, having a hairless genital area was not common. Today it's becoming more and more popular, partly because it's now being talked about or mentioned, on shows such as Sex and the City.

It's true that in other countries, body hair is much more acceptable. You won't find a whole lot of American men who go for it. It's becoming so uncommon that it's probably now considered a fetish.

I haven't met one yet. I remember before I started shaving my legs blokes used to come up and say things like 'my legs are hairier than yours' and I was made to feel like a freak! Now I always shave my legs etc because it's uncomfortable when I don't. There is definite pressure to shave armpits and legs though. If an actress or other famous person doesn't shave then it can make the front page in British media! Also, programmes like 'Sex in the City' have made women feel that they need to get Brazillian waxes and keep their bikini line smooth at all times when it used to just be an issue if you were going on holiday. So, women are getting more and more socially conditioned into only having hair on their heads because we also feel that we have to pluck our eyebrows too.

More fuzz the better for me ... within reason. Not interested in Sasquatch, and I don't like facial hair on women, but I love the natural look on the lower half of the body, especially a light treasure trail or some light hair on the small of the back. Very sexy. Love hairy arms, again within reason. Brazilian women are the best for the light hair on the lower half of the bod. And they don't mind showing it.

I'll let the hair on my legs grow in the winter sometimes. And once, I did an experiment and didn't shave under my arms, it was very comfortable, but it is a huge turn off for most men in America. It was also pretty uncomfortable when it was growing out due to stubble.

Peace.

Give me hairless armpits, and legs and a nice Brazilian or Holywood in the nether regions any time!
Although i do have a friend who gets turned on by women having overgrown pubic hair.. were talking Bermuda Triangle proportions (where you go in but never find your way out!)

It comes down to the media and cultural differences. In some European countries, hairy women are definitely more desirable. That said, the British on the whole definitely prefer hairless women and more and more hairless men!

i'll admit i HATE shaving my legs, in fact i did it last night, but the husband doesn't like the hairy women, i think a little hair should be ok, especially for me because i'm blonde, but we gotta keep them shaved so we are not considered "nasty" i guess,
but i think we should shave our armpits
