I have a Ducane grill. When I looked into this I was told that there were parts that had to be changed to do that. I think the regular and some of the gas jets in the burners had to changed. You may find the same with the Kenmore.

you need to replace all compnents with ones made for natural gas. The orifices are different for NG and LP and NG has no regulator at the grill. Often difficult to find conversion parts so your best bet is to find used or new natural gas grill. I trade an AC for mine and will never go back to propane.

Only if the manufacturer sells a conversion kit. You will need to contact Sears to find out. If its one of the higher end units it may be convertable.
