You know I only started wearing a watch about 6 months ago. My boss had gotten it for me for good work....
Anyway, I think it's wonderful. I work in fast food management and it helps me tell what time of day it is in order that I may be more "on time". And you're right there are clocks everywhere, but with my watch I don't have to go around the corner to find one...or ask a co-worker what time it is cause they're closer to the clock....
Plus they look good. There are so many different styles it's amazing. You should try wearing one for a day or two. I'll bet you'll come to like it..
Have a nice day..! ! !

There are not clocks everywhere. If there are a few, they are often stopped or wrong. I wear wristwatches because I like them. They are part of my look. I have 47 of them. I could not be on time for appointments, be there when movies begin, etc. for certain without my trusty watches. I have hunted and camped in the forests. There are no clocks out there. I walk on the beach. There are many places where I need a watch. Some people look at time on cell phones. I don't carry one unless I'm expecting a call, and I keep it turned off in libraries, theaters, etc.

It is because it is an easy and reliable way to keep track of the time. Obviously, there aren't clocks everywhere, so when someone needs to be at a certain place at a certain time, they always have the time so they will never be late. Also, it is a very fahionable way to display time.

There are not clocks everywhere. Sometimes you have to use your watch or your cell phone, and even then depending on where you are, you may not be allowed to use your phone to check the time.

because it is still an accessory when you are going out or going on a event or even a date. Would you want your date to keep on looking at his cellphone to determine what time is it? And also, there are some places where you are not allowed to use your cellphone, even if its just to check the time.

No there aren't. My watch was broken for a couple of weeks and I never knew what time it was when I needed it.
