If you open up the remote there should be 8 or so white levers that you can change to different numbers. Make sure you also change it on the opener or they will not communicate to each other and it wont work.

I know that with mine...the code in your remote had to match the ones in the main unit.....if you open up the unit there is all these little switches that are either pushed up or down and you have to match them to your remote...I mean yours could be different but maybe it might work

I had that problem with a Genie key pad. I went to the Genie website and found instructions that you can download. I imagine Sears has the same.

Call sears and get a new owners manual if you lost yours. The instructions are clear in the book.

you will have to look in the owners manual as most of them are different. there is a pad (usually) on the opening motor and the control. the will have to be reset to match based on what the manual tells you.

depends on model. older models have 9 switches inside the control which can be on or offand nine switches on the opener itself. These must be set identically.
