No, I don't think it should be banned. People should be free to dress how they choose, but there are some situations where it may contravene a dress code (if wearing a uniform, passing security checks etc.)
As it is a cultural and personal preference to wear it, rather than any kind of religious or cultural imperative, I see no problem with people being asked to remove it in certain circumstances, in much the same way as people are asked not to wear hoodies with the hood up in some shopping centres or not to wear helmets in banks.
I also think it's important for people to acknowledge that the way they dress affects how people see them - not that this should force them to change the way they dress, but it's something to think about (for everyone, actually.)

Neutral answers!, how daft! people will think one way or the other, there won;t be anyone wanting to sit on the fence on this issue!
I think it should be banned, the muslims need to understand they are a mionority group in a christian country, as such, should play by the rule of our country and culture, if you wish to wear certain items, and dont want to cause arguements or attract criticism, go somewhere else where its the norm, because its never going to be the norm in the UK!

I don't think it should be banned, if women want to wear niqab it is their choice, it is not compulsory to wear it, but if she wants to make that choice to hide her modesty, then it is totally up to them, but they should respect the laws of this land
