Saddam both in actual and as a result of actions.
George hasn't really popped a cap on anyone. Saddam has.
Saddam instigated three wars. The first was responsible for the deaths of millions. I don't know the figures on the second. And the last, I am wondering about those CNN figures.
That would amount to about 3% of the total population of Iraq. And seeing how long the war has been going on that would mean an average of about 600 Iraqi people a day getting killed. I've never heard figures that high ever mentioned. Have you? I think CNN has the decimal in the wrong place.
*LOL* But since 655K is so much bigger I'm sure it will be widely quoted (without ever questioning the facts) by anyone who thinks Bush did everything wrong when it comes to Iraq.

If the people who answer this question claim Bush has murdered none... well why?! Hasn't George Bush's army killed Iraqi people? Didn't Saddam's army do the same thing? If you say no to one of those then you have a closed mind. Our troops are killing Iraqi civilians (I don't blame them... It's hard over there!). But if you're looking at the numbers then yes, Bush has killed more Iraqis than Saddam. Recent intelligence reports have also stated that 6/10 Iraqis support insurgent attacks on the US AND there is more torture going on now than when Saddam was in power.
If we have to stay in Iraq lets do things that we can all be proud of? Yes? I know it's hard, I'm not claiming it to be easy, but giving up on finding a better way because it's hard doesn't sound like the Republican mindset.... Oh well...
{edit}
Don't worry "Amy J".... we haven't only killed Iraqis either!
{edit2}
And to the fellow below her:
Yeah you're probably right... Cnn does spin just like fox. The problem is though that would those civilians be dead if we weren't in Iraq?

I've never been a supporter of this war and I'm by no means a fan of George Bush, but that number seems very high to me. I saw the same report about the study but I would want to know more about the methodology before accepting that number.
One thing is certain. There are a lot of people who are dead now who would not be dead if we had not invaded.
One more thing for those who don't see the connection between the invasion and the insurgency deaths. If George Bush had not made the decision to invade then there would not be an insurgency. It really doesn't matter who is doing the killing. The decision to invade was the catalyst.

Ok, so they aren't helping mankind. So why are they doing it? No conspiracy theories, please.
And of course nobody wants to be in that position, and there is no 'appeal'. That is obvious. Saddam has killed the most, by far. And not only Iraqis. Do some real research.

First, I don't trust CNN. They have a tendency to lie in favor of the terrorists. Second, it is estimated Saddam has killed over 1.5 million Iraqis, by starvation, gassing, shooting, and "disappearing." Third, of CNN's alleged 655,000 dead Iraqis, how many were killed by Americans, and how many by Saddam and al-Queda loyalists?

You are partially correct!
What you don't know is CNN has put their own spin on the truth. Yes, over 650,000 people have died in Iraq........but what they didn't tell you is over 70% of those deaths are from terrorist insurgents...(the very people we are trying to protect the Iraqi people from!).......NOT by the US military!!!!
The direct answer to your question....Saddam has killed more of his own people than our military......I have yet to see W in kevlar with a rifle, so clearly the answer is Saddam!
These are people who welcome our help, they don't want the terrorists in their country. Another thing the media is not telling you is the good that we are in fact doing in Iraq...rebuilding schools, hospitals, restoring electricity, making the water safe for them to drink, rebuilding roads, teaching the Iraqi people to stand up for themselves, govern themselves, and be free for themselves.
Ask a soldier who has been there how the people of Iraq treated them. Then, thank him for going in harms way to stop the spread of terrorism!

I'm sure no one "wanted" to be in the position to make those decisions. Yes, I do think they are doing it to help mankind. CNN is making some estimate based on their own biases to show how awful this war is. One of these days, people will wake up and realize that there really are people out there who want to kill us just because of who we are. If left unchecked, they would have free rein to do so.

That's not according to CNN. That's according to a study done by John Hopkins. There was a study previous to this one that was completely debunked on both sides of the issue, as it doesn't match morgue/hospital records. This study is quadruple what the Iraqi hospitals have reported.

That's only a hand full compared to other wars. Did you know that in WWII over 62 million people were killed???? Freedom comes at a price. And we shouldn't ever forget that.
Don't shame those brave men who died to give you the freedom you now enjoy.
