The movie Being There with Peter Sellers.

Peter Sellers plays a half wit, does some remarkable things, but at the very end of the movie, he walks away on the water.

Who does that remind you of LOL?

Probably when that poor kid in Little Miss Sunshine runs screaming from the car after not speaking for 9 months and yells, "F__!" I laughed so hard and then felt like crying.

Blackpool, recent tv series on BBC.
David Tennant and Sarah Parish are talking. She works in Samaritans and he's a police officer come to check her out and she thinks he's a patient.

She asks "Are you depressed?"
He answers. "Not really but i've only been here a few days."

Ironic laugh for anyone who has EVER been to Blackpool.

Ok, I know this is real life news but it was all over the telly at the time. Do you remember Judith Kilshaw? Her and her husband were buying babies from t'Internet or something. Anyway, this woman is no oil painting - I think 'rancid hag' kinda sums it up: http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search/images?p=judith%20kilshaw&fl=0&ei=UTF-8&fr=FP-tab-news-t340&fr2=tab-web

Anyway, I saw a picture of her coming out of court. She was wearing a necklace that said 'foxy'. To my mind, there's nothing foxy about her. I've seen more attractive roadkill...

The thought of it still has me chuckling to this day... real life is hilarious!

In the Simpson's, the produce of Itchy and Scratchy wants a new character:

"I want the original dog from hell!"

One writer asks, "Cerberus?"

Silence.

Ironic b/c that IS the original "dog from hell", but he didn't really want Cerberus.
