Only if they are stupid.
There was a guy at my train station this morning wearing a pair of short yellow running style shorts.
I think its quite fashionable for teenagers to wear then instead of short skirts when going out drinking.

I would have to yes, because the weather does not get cold. I have many Christmas pictures with my sisters and I in shorts or jeans in a tank top. South Texas doesn't have a harsh winter, although we had a miracle snow in 2004. Besides that it is very mild when it comes to winter here, but summer is another story.

YES!! City shorts are sooooo hot! even in the winter i wear them to go out, but you have to be pretty hardy. It's like wearing a mini-skirt, only much more practical.
After a few drinks you won't feel the cold anyway...
I also wear them for running, although these tend to be more of the clima-cool/cycling short variety..

Shorts are the hottest fashion of 2006 and some people are reluctant to give them up even though its freezing, so they've taken to wearing them with thick black tights and heels. I personally think looks a little stupid, but its a less tarty alternative to a mini skirt, I suppose. The thing I can't stand is shorts and knee boots- Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss may get away with it, but everyone else will look like a hooker!

People who are doing training outdoors wear shorts all the time but as for people just wearing them I image some people do. My partner will wear them around the house all year round but he wouldn't go out with them on in the winter unless he was going training

I live in the south and wear shorts nearly all year long. Sometimes add a sweatshirt or hoodie with the shorts.

yes sure, In the North West of England the postmen have a challenge to see who can stand the cold the longest and wear shorts everyday until there's only one person left who wins a kitty of cash they've all thrown in, mad ppl.
