One of my best friends is 21 in january and she is really stressing about what to do for her birthday. All our friends live in london, so have everything at our doorstep. Obviously she wants a really special night, so any ideas would be great!

London Eye is a bit of a no brainer

London Floatworks to have a sensory deprivation float in your own personal tank - you dont need to bring anything with you as they supply towels, so that is a great relaxing way to start the night.

Round the corner from the Floatworks is Vinopolis where you could then have a go at group wine tasting - hic!

Then go to Covent Garden for a meal - Belgo Centraal is a fun Belgium Beer Restaurant before going to a club

Fist - a trip on the London Eye.
Then lunch in Covent Garden.
After that a Matinee show at any west end theatre (I can recommend Mamma Mia).
Then dinner at any one of a number of great restaurants.
They do a great Veggie Chinese at C'hI in Egerton Garden Mews (off Kensington high street). Planet Hollywood is great if you like burgers.
If you're short of time, just do the Eye and a restaurant.

For my sister's hen party I booked her a pole dancing lesson at Play in Old Street. Good laugh, not sleazy or anything and all her friends took part. Then on the night we went to Medieval Banquet at Katherine Docks. Good food, good entertainment, and the special person is encouraged to participate. Then a 'disco' till late. We then went on to a club near by.

Very good night out, and worked out quite cheap too, although you have to book up both before hand.

Plan a pub crawl, this site lets you do a pub crawl of a certain word, so maybe you could do one of your name, that's if you want pubness: http://www.beerintheevening.com/ You could maybe goto the theatre beforehand if there's anything you want to see.
