3. leggings (you can wear them with a mini skirt or shorts alternatively)
4. platform shoes
5. red (I prefer them in accessories or shoes, rather than in a look from head to toe)

I say the plain brown skirt, just below the knees and kinda covering down 1/2 lower calf. About 2 inches below the knees will look good.
Not the dark brown, the mid bright brown.
Of course black clothing options are always in.
(black pants/black shoes/black shirt). Maybe all black is the in thing. Non gothic look.

You can wear jeans and the same white shirt but a different jacket and it seems like you have a lot of clothes!!

Ill second the chunky turtlenecks.
Also, brown, green, orange, or any "old" color polo shirt under a white cable knit sweater with the collar popped.
Knee length skirts, high boots.
Flattering jeans and flip flops.
