good question.

- a simple and very basic white tee
- a pair of jeans that suits her (doesnt matter if its skinny, boot cut whatever)
- lil black dress (preferably vintage)
- a burberry trench coat (or any other trench coat but i suggest burberry)
- a leather jacket
- a cashmere sweater
- a hoodie
- any juicy couture sweatpants u know stuff like that
- gold heels
- a designer handbag. (just get one if ur on budget but dont buy fakes. i suggest either mulberry bayswater bag or the fendi spy bag)

i dunno. i think these should be nuff. well actually there's more but these are the basics i guess. try vintage stores. it's okay to indulge with the basics. cuz it's the classics so spend spend spend.
i hope this helps good luck!

1) a classic little black dress with a neutral neckline
2) A pair of pants in black, navy, and khaki. Stay with widish legs b/c that look has been in since the days of Lauren Becall and Audry Hepburn and it's still in. If you prefer skirts (men do!) then get a black and a grey straight skirt that goes to the knee.(a classic length)
3) Feminine, fitted button downs in white and balck and one ina bright color you LOVE, like turquoise or pink.
4) A pair of basic pumps in brown and black
5) A killer pair of jeans that can be dressed up with a dressy blouse or business jacket.
6) a strand of pearls. If you have the money great, if you don't a strand of fake pearls is about $14 and looks equally rich. Get a good sized pair of pearl earings to go with it. Just a half globe big enough to cover your earlobe.
YOU"RE ALL SET!!! Good for you to realize the importance of a good classy and timeless wardrobe. It will save you money and you always look elegant and well put together!

This will vary from woman to woman, but, these are my opinions.

1. The perfect little black dress that you spent a hair too much on, but it makes you feel like the sexiest thing that walked God's green earth.

2. Good lingerie and undies. No substitute for the way they make you look and feel. Cheap bras don't enhance and support like good ones do, and, if you look at it like a few expensive bras will outlast the cheapies that you have to buy over and over again, it doesn't hurt as bad when you pull out the checkbook.

3. A good pair of dress pumps, preferably black 'cos it goes with everything. I like a medium heel, but, I'm 5'8" and don't need anything really high, and, it's not all that comfortable to wear a five-inch heel anyway.

4. Jeans that fit, flatter, and feel fantastic. You'll wind up trying on oodles and gobs to find them, but, when you do, you'll know it.

5. A good pair of basic black dress slacks, you can put darn near any kind of top with them, a pair of gold hoop earrings or a pair of diamond studs, a splash of perfume, and you're ready to go any old where.

6. Good boots, especially if where you live gets cold in winter.

7. A good, soft, white button-down shirt. Dresses up or down, and looks classy.

8. A well-made trench coat. It will last for ages, and it works during any season.

9. Basic black or navy knee-length or thereabouts skirt. Again, you can dress it up and make it sexy, or you can make it professional and conservative depending on the top and accessories.

10. Good walking or tennis shoes. Cheap shoes suck, 'nuff said.

1. the little black dress (big must)
2. a pair of classy jeans
3. a white shirt
4. a pair of high-heeled shoes (preferably black)
5. a designer bag (I would prefer Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga)

If your budget is low, it's still ok. You can find all this stuff (except for 5) in super prices on e-bay. Designer bags on e-bay might not be original, mind you.

well that would depend on the shape of your body. What is timeless and classic could be a 'A' line skirt but if your really skinny or very curvaceous it may not look flattering on you. Or what about some nice leather sling back but what if your feet are wide or long or just too slender they may not work for you but if I may say so myself Oprah has a page and Cosmo!

Well the black slacks, jeans. Blue jeans. Jogging running shoes, business shoes at work go to Payless shoes or Sears for those. Check for clearance section first in the store.

Classics are anything black or white or brown. These colors never go out of style.

Every woman should have a black dress...Take a look at this one.
