Some stores already have christmas decorations out. Most start after halloween and before thanksgiving.

A week after Thanksgiving. Sadly, they've already begun. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor is for sale in some stores right now. At least they haven't begun playing Christmas music on the loudspeakers yet.

Apparently the stores around here think October 1st. And although it is nice to see all the decor, it's a bit confusing for my pre-schoolers! 'Mom, I thought it was almost Halloween, not Christmas! Are you telling us the truth?' Like I would lie to them.

Supermarkets the place i stay placed out decorations and advertising festive stuff as quickly as Halloween is over. that's notably much as on the 1st Nov the christmas fairies have been in and cleared the halloween stuff and placed out the christmas stuff in one day.

The weekend after Thanksgiving (in the US) or the last weekend in November. They (the stores) start way too soon now, by the time Christmas arrives I'm sick of it! (Not the sentimental part, just the commercialization)

I think they should start displaying all the holidays of the season at the same time they start displaying Halloween things.
