How do I become an RE or Citizenship Teacher in the UK?

I have been told that you can get a work based training course but do not know where to start. I am in the South East.

You need to have a PGCE to become any kind of teacher in the UK so first you need a degree then do the post graduate teacher training. There are lists of universities that do the required degree in the field you want to teach.

You are only able to go done this route to be an accredited teacher by already having a degree.
