MY ANSWER:
Lust is the physical desire that God gave all humans, so that pro-creation would take place. It is the strongest desire humans have.
Love is the result of lust entering our hearts and taking up residence there.
A person may lust for another, but not have love.
I don't think a person can truly love, without a little lust being there!

Let's start with lust, that's the easy one! Lust is simply the physical desire for sex. Love, well there can be many definitions! There is the love of a pet, love of a child, love of a parent, a sibling, a friend, or neighbor. They all are somewhat different. Love of a child, for example, may cause one to give up their own life to save another. Love of a neighbor, on the other hand, may not be as intense. We all have our own definitions of what love means to us.

Lust is what you feel before you fall in love with someone.
I lusted for my fiance' when we first started dating. For me it was a physical attraction that I had to be near him, touching him, holding his hand.... etc.
I began to LOVE my fiance' when I realized that I would rather see him happy than worry about my own wants. For instance, I quit my job (without another one in place) to be near him. I moved 3 states away from all of my other family members and friends, so we didn't have to do the long distance relationship any longer!
I am definitely in love!!!

Lust is the hunger for sexual pleasure; love is unlimited commitment to anything without expectation or need of any reward.
