I'm in a dilemma in my fantasy hockey pool. I currently have Ward, Huet and Emery. I'm holding on to Emery since Gerber is stumblng badly so Emery may get some points down the road. Also wetting the bed is Cam Ward. Huet looks like he will be a flash in the pan as does Ward. Aebischer appears to be the guy in Montreal right now. Also out there is Martin Biron...a quality goalie who I believe will notch some points at some point during the year.

So that said I have to drop one goalie to add one. Available are Nabakov in St.Jose, and Pascal Leclaire in Columbus.

Looking some answers and feedback as to what you would do.

Swap Nabakov for Emery. Its still early and Ward and Huet are more or less still #1 guys who might just be getting off to a bad start. You definitely want to pick up Nabakov as he was the #1 guy last year and Toskala is only a very tentative #1. He also plays for San Jose which may be the best team in hockey this year.

You also might want to check for Philly's Niittymaki on the wire, I picked him up in 3 of my league's this morning. Apparently he has the inside track in Philly.

No matter what Ottawa's going to go with Gerber. You might want to drop Emery. Keep Ward, he should be good for Carolina. Don't know who's going to be #1 in Montreal. I say you keep Huet for now. He seems more likely to become starter than Aebischer. Biron's okay but I think Ryan Miller's going to play more. Nabokov isn't the clear starter in SJ, so I wouldn't get him. You don't have many good goalies to choose from. If Niittymaki of the Flayers is availble, then he's probably your best choice. Other than that, your best bet would be Biron. He's not going to play much, but he does pick up points when he plays. Good luck.

Biron wont get many games, Nabokov will probably share the games with Toskala, so get Leclaire, he will start a lot of games, and Columbus seems improved this year. As for the drop, I would say Huet or Emery, your choice.
