I tried salary.com and vault.com, neither of which told me, does anyone know how I can find out?

I make 17.51 a hour... it does not matter where you live, the pay is the same..

rural sub, which I am, make 17.51 an hour..
PTF (city carrier subs) make a little more..

full time carriers are on salary, they get paid the same whether they live in NYC or Omaha.. It is a FEDERAL JOB..

Janitors make good money also...

13-14 dollars starting out is for "casual" positions, which are temporary, 90 days..

The USPS pays quite well. I think they start at around $15 or $16 per hour and the benefits are very good. Becareful, some of those people go postal!

They are currently starting at $14 an hour.

With overtime, some can pull down $60K, but that is rare.

Mostly $50K, but that is like 20 years of work to get to that level

They make good money because they technically work for the government.

I know entry level positions at most post offices begin at around $11-13/hour.

It varies depending on the area. Here in Orlando, FL mailman start at about $15/hour.

I live in Northern Virginia and here they make roughly around $16.75 an hour.

wouldnt that depend on what area you are looking for..I know here in Nova Scotia they make over $20 an hour..
