You need to alert Ebay and Paypal (if you have an account) ASAP. Both sites even tell you in their security section not to click on these links, but to go directly to their website.
You should also alert the credit bureaus and put a notice on your credit report that you have had your identificaiton stolen. The 3 websites are www.experian.com, www.transunion.com and www.equifax.com.
Again, if you have a Paypal account, contact your bank and/or credit card company the funds your account.

Dude, if it was already in your spam box you should have known it was fake. NEVER click links in your email. Just don't do it. Now you'll have to change your ebay password and any other passwords that you may have set the same as your ebay. Contact Ebay's fraud or scam department and let them know.

Ebay has a fraud alert or spam e-mail option you can go to. Go to Ebay's homepage.....click on Help (it is on the top next to Buy, Sell, etc.). The next page will give you some options, the first is about fraudulent e-mails and go to that option. Doing this contacts you with Ebay about the e-mail and they look over it and let you know whether it is an authentic Ebay e-mail. Good Luck!

First, go to the ebay site. Don't use a link - type it directly in your address bar. Log in and change your password. Then, go to: http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/questions/email-authenticity.html and check out their info on fake e-mail. Make sure you report it to them by forwarding the e-mail to spoof@ebay.com. Also, keep an eye on your account to make sure nobody has used it.

i have gotten those emails before. NEVER type in your email and password. Report these to ebay. Dont use the link they provide you in the email though. You will need to actually forward this email to them and type in the address yourself.
