Clinton's counter to McCain's claim that Clinton's policies opened the door for north Korea was that there were no development of nukes during his 8 years in office. Do you think that is true? Do you think Kim Jeong Il waited for Bush to be elected to start working on them?

I think it's both laughable and designed for the incredibly gullible. I stopped caring about Clinton a long time ago. Never liked him, ever. It's amazing, and he knows this, that he can make a twisted comment like that and some people will take it as face value. I'm not interested in discrediting Clinton, like I said I don't care about him. But it's just mind-blowing that he tries to double-talk this issue. He should just say, I made a mistake or they lied to us.

In 1994 The blundering Clinton administration agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for ending its nuclear weapons program. It IS possible to extract weapons-grade material from light-water reactors.(who didnt see this coming?)

What's more surprising is Donald Rumsfeld sat on the board of the company that won the $200 million contract to provide the design and key components for the reactors.

The company is Zurich-based engineering giant ABB, which signed the contract in early 2000, before Rumsfeld gave up his board seat and joined the Bush administration. He was on the board from 1990 to early 2001.

In May 2001, the DOE, after consulting with the new Rumsfeld Pentagon, finally authorized the delivery of that nuclear technology to North Korea. Groundbreaking ceremonies attended by Westinghouse and N. Korean officials were held Sept. 14, 2001--three days after 9/11
