Flogging Molly is a great Irish sounding band...but they're not from Ireland. If i had to choose a band from Ireland i would say The Cranberries are the best. Dolores O'Riordan has a great voice.

The Dropkick Murphys. Technically, they're from Boston but they're an Irish punk rock band. Or if you want a band that's strictly from Ireland, definitely U2, not because I don't know any other Irish band but because they are the best.

SNOW PATROL!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE THE BEST EVER!! I went to see them live in Marley Park in Dublin in August and they blew every1 away!! they're amazing live! I especially love their songs "chasing cars","run","chocolate" and "Shut your eyes"!!
