i dont blieve how a man could be so unreasonable.but im glad she has a good friend like u.
she should either try 2 go the next day with her child or speak to elders and ask them to intervene.ask her 2 present the case to her husband and then ask if he would actually find it sfe for her with a girlchild to travel alone with men who might get drunk or misbehavewith her. hiope he understands.

Celeberate a function, invite your friend and insist that she and her daughter spends a few days with you before they go to Himachal Pradesh as you will be missing them and your future meetings would be with lots of gaps. Request the husband of your friend to allow her to stay with you at least for a couple of days.
O.K !
Good Luck to you

If its safe territory, (sorry, I dont know where himachal is, what Country), then I wouldnt worry about it.

Not going through "bandit country" where the truck will get hijacked, then they will be ok.

As long as he doesnt make them ride in the back, where the fumes may kill them, then you dont have to worry about them.

Wish them a safe trip and write them often. She will miss your company.

I wish you well..

Ask your friend to keep onion under her both arms. This way she will get fever & temperature. so family members will not allow her to travel in hi temperature in truck & she can travel by other means after fews days to join her husband.

Give her some money or book a ticket on the train for her.. if you really want to help her.. or the simple way is to ask her to put her foot down and demand her husband to treat her properly... it's time some woman raise up to the occasion and fight for equality..
think it over honey...

You and a male friend/ relative can go with her. It will give her company and I'm sure be a great comfort for both of you; a peace of mind for you.

Your friend is a big girl. Also, it is not your place to try to defy her husband. If she has a problem they need to work it out. Issues in there marriage are THERE issues. Sorry, just try to be supportive.
