i live in alabama and along with the usual stuff we got some weird crap ive never heard of or seen before. just spend a summer here and you'll like discover 5 new species!
that might be an exaggeration but im serious.
we've got fire ants that wont go north b/c of cold weather, a few scorpions, brown recluses, silverfish(very fast),huge garden spiders(about 4.5 in long! harmless but scary) big black locusts (huge black grasshoppers about 5 in in length, with a orange or red stripe, orange guts, and come out every few years in mass numbers).

I guess that's enough, these insects and more are what we've seen in our area, a few
were dead and others we caught and released after we identified them. So
if you come to South Eastern Pennsylvania don't forget the RAID!

There are too many species of insects to name them all. This would apply in any part of the world.

I discovered a bug the other day, it looked like a small peice of bark from a tree and then it moved, poor thing it was really ugly!

brown laclosse, banana spider, praying mantis, slugs, grandaddy long legs, water bugs, flies, mosquitoes, monarch butterfly, black widow, yellow jacket, wasps, honey bee, killer bee, roaches. I am from North Carolina.

Love bugs I hate them, they come out twice a year and get all over your car..
