That would depend on the comedian...
Robin Williams? Of course.
Tommy Chong? Most definately.
Carrot Top? Surely not.
Andrew Dice Clay? Not in a hundred billion years.
It doesn't matter what other talents a person has, as long as they have what it takes to be a good leader...intellegence, tolerance, patience, diplomacy, compassion, and mostly, a desire to serve the people and not themselves...

If you meant they listed "Performer" or "Comedian" as a previous job, would you vote for one? Thats NOT funny..
Why?= not enough powerful connections,and guarranteed to respond to anybody with a cue card.

There was an article in the paper today saying that Jon Stewart has stated that he will never run for president, so no. I would seriously consider him if he were running (he's a very smart man, and realistic), but alas. He won't.

i wouldnt really wwant to vote for a comedian president because
he wouldnt be serious and get things done.. but if i had to choose a comedian pres it would be chris rock
