I have been in Orlando now for about 2yrs and I haven't really made any friends. I was wondering, is it just me or is anyone else having this same problem? I don’t know where to go exactly. I have tried school (two colleges) and church. I’m a bit lost. I don’t really have too many "hobbies", I like to do a lot of things, plus I like to try most new things. I’m 26. So some things may not be for me i.e. shuffle board. lol Well I hope someone has something. I also hope to see some people from Orlando answer. Thanks guys! :)

I disagree with the first answer because if you go to disney then you meet ppl from other states hardly anybody that lives in orlando goes there. I live in clearwater fla and yes it is hard to meet ppl in fla since they are usually from other states and I am 45 and moved here 3 months ago and my husband and I still are having trouble making friends here because they never stay and they dont like fla and then they leave so you end up with friends in other states. I really do not like fla and my hubby does not want to leave cause he is making really good money. But I am sorry I ever moved here. good luck to you though.

What about work? There are more things to Orlando then shuffle board. Orlando has a lot of nightclubs that you can go to. You have to open up a little and introduce yourself. I don't live in Orlando but I live about an hour north. Find things that interest you and loosen up a little...say hello.
