Yes if you want to spend a lot of money.
At about £10 a month it's a bit of a rip off.

ZOMG yes its worth it!
Just don't play alliance. Horde is better :-P
The game is wonderful and there it a bit of something in there for everyone. It does have a monthly fee, but it comes out to be 50 cents a day at most. But the fee is definatly worth it.
People will talk about getting addicted, but I still have a life, job and family. You can get your friends to play to, so you can be social while you rot your brain a bit.

Personally I never had it and never wanted it. It is a rip off. More for people who don't have a life if you ask me. Ok you keep paying every month for your subscription and there is no end as that would allow you a reason to stop paying for it. Now if you have no life I guess it would be good. Personally I could plan my life around being ready to play the game and pretty much doing nothing BUT playing a game.

My son desperately wanted this game, so last Christmas I gave in and got if for him. I paid £35 for the game and then a subscription of £8.99 a month to play it! I think its a total waste of money.
My son played it obsessively until about Feb then sporadically until April, I stopped the subscription in July and he hasn't noticed yet!
He says the game is great to start with but gets very boring and samey. I just think its a rip off!

The game is AWESOME!
While it can be "addictive" like all things in life, use moderation and all will be fine!
My husband, son and I all play together and we have a blast! I have also made many wonderful friends online since I started playing!
Check it out, it is definitely worth it!

I hate this game, it gets all the publicity like it's the only MMoRG on the market, and its really not that hot. its questing all the time, the graphics are really cartoony and bad, and once you reach lvl 60 there's nothing to do.
I suggest going for Dark Age Of Camelot.

don't buy it! that south park episode is not that much of an exaggeration! world of warcraft will mess up your life! it takes waaaay too much time! when you reach level 60, the only thing to do is raid, raid, raid... you'll have to schedule everything around raiding with your guild.. it will control your life.. it's not worth it! I'm SO glad I quit!

Apparently very good but very addictive. The monthly subscription is a bit costly aswell.
